Vendor Management

iGov and our Federal customers have zero tolerance for gray market and counterfeit products. As a certified Open Trusted Technology Provider™ Standard (O-TTPS) ISO/IEC 20243-1:2018 company, we use our O-TTP-S certified supply chain quality management processes in alignment with our Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan to thoroughly vet suppliers for inclusion on our approved vendor list. iGov only sources products directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or OEM authorized distributors and resellers. We carefully vet prospective new vendors to ensure they also employ supply chain risk management/counterfeit prevention policies and procedures and/or hold industry accepted quality management and supply chain certifications. We regularly review vendor performance and sever relationships with those who do not meet our standards.

Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP)

Overview

iGov offers the C2E2 of LRIP via proof-of-design, small-quantity production. This affords our customers a low-cost, low-risk option to build confidence before transitioning to FRP, and is usually the first step in transitioning from customized, hand-built prototypes to the final mass-produced end product. An LRIP phase also serves as a production test phase for proofing assembly, integration, and test methods before they are used in mass production.
